Ravelry: Forest Witch Hat pattern by Angie Frese。MEET THE FOREST HAT: I hand knit this hat from 100% wool then felted and shaped it. There may be loose fibers attached due to the felting process which I feel adds to the look. I have tried these hats on a variety of heads to get a feel for sizing and they fit well on most adults. Please see measurement photos. Also listed in photographs is the hat on a mannequin head that measures 24 inches in diameter without hair. Note that hat narrows towards the top. Great for festivals, re-enactments and for those who wanna feel a little witchy every day! All hats I hand-knit myself. I spend a good amount of time making these so the prices are higher in lieu of the effort put forth. I rarely use patterns (unless there is a specific design or stitch that requires a pattern) so every piece is unique. One can expect all the novelty and charm that can be found in hand-crafted pieces in my hats. I strive to give as much sizing information as possible in my description and photos.
